"The Hype" graduates the modern day dilemma, is it pure coincidence?

The Hype?

Hope, determination, hard work, constant fake smiles, a college degree - are these self promising characteristics leading to any success? The hype made by your parents, friends, colleagues, grammar school teachers, university professors, and or of course big business certainly do not match up to the results of such hype.

In recent years, during the industrial revolution, there were many opportunities, a demand in workforce, and illusion which drew millions into the United States. Among these is my own family whom migrated from South America (Colombia) to work hard, attain citizenship and raise their child under the "hype" driven mindset of what it takes to be successful. During the era of a demand in workforce I recall hearing conversations that included comments like "I can leave one job and have another in an hour".....something that today would be unheard of. The questions in place are, "Does it matter where you're from? Does it matter who you know? Does it matter what you look like? Does it matter what you've accomplished?" the answers, in my opinion, to all these questions is Yes, except the last questions where what you've accomplished, considered to be "playing by the rules", may have no significance in today's American companies.

Such irony is dressed with the "HYPE", the truth of the matter is if you don't have a degree you will struggle insanely and more than likely die in poverty, REGARDLESS of their existence - (capitalistic markets). Further if you play by the rules, go to school and earn a degree, pay your bills, pay your taxes, volunteer, be a good citizen/patron, good mom, dad, son, brother, sister,whatever.....it simply isn't enough to be for the calling. You may be thinking I am just an angered individual that hasn't received his chance but in fact quite the contrary, I am not! in fact, I have been very lucky, I work with a great company, and even had the opportunity to get hired while in school. So many of you may ask, why in the world would I argue at such a strong position as to the significance of "Hype"? The reasons are Clear and can be summed up in two words "Big Business".

This calling of defining the "Hype" originates out of recent observations related to the stories of recent graduates not able to locate employment opportunities, experienced professionals or skilled workers being hit with the wave of unfairness and manipulation of big business, the extreme leftist (1%) and radical decision makers whom continuously support the extraction of a middle class, and an indefinite position of keeping poor at a poorer and even worst position than ever before. In this blog I invite you to express some of the atrocious experiences you or someone you know has had by decisions made in the interest of big business.
  • Where is the unemployment rate in your region?
  • What is your local or state government doing about it?
  • Have you ever questioned when you hear about the enlistment of new jobs, exactly what kinds of jobs are these?
  • Think about today's newest way's of looking for employment (the online human resources) - Does it really work?
  • Why are big businesses concerned for hiring people collecting from the unemployment benefits? The reason really is because of tax incentives, GE is probably one of the biggest tax thieves I have ever learned of.
Now think about the man or woman who grew in the ages of the industrial revolution, a time where labor excess was not an issue. Skilled workers arrived from all over the world to help the text tile, and construction industries just to name a few, furthermore manufacturing unbelievably became a hot market where manufacturing plants would open by the dozens, hence the recent quote "I can have a job in an hour". Lets think back on the opening statement of this paragraph, the man or woman that grew under this era whom in today's digitized world simply does not stand a chance. These are people who have at least a good 15 - 20 years of labor in them.  Today's ways simply are not driven to support the needs of our labor force, nor is the interest of big business one that will support any labor movements such as Unions or anti-labor discriminatory advocacy groups. In addition, students graduating with a plethora of specialized degrees and still big business uses the excuse there arn't enough skilled workers, or people with the proper background but coincidentally there are in China, or India just to name a few countries. You see the reality is big business has been manipulating our American society since the early 1970's, the moment big business realized they can control mass media, our politicians, and our jobs. This initiation came about from the "Powell Memo" below I've provided a link that explains the details behind such atrocious, astute initiatives brought about by big business leaders: The Powell Memo was the precipitating event for the swiftrise and astounding success of big business and its control of the United States, starting in the early 1970's. The memo presented a bold strategy for how the corporate life form could take over the key portions of the system, without the other side knowing what was happening. Unless they have read the memo they still don't.
